The warped tour is a well established outdoor music and extreme sports festival. After the success of the festival gathered over the years, popular shoe manufacturer Vans struck up a deal to sponsore the event. The festival first appeared in 1995 and has featured huge artists from around the world including: No Doubt, Eminem, Katy Perry, Blink 182, Black Eyed Peas, Sublime and My Chemical Romance.
Another huge attraction to the festival is the inclusion of extreme sports ramps and halfpipes, as many skateboarders and BMX enthusiasts showcase their talent in front of thousands of onlookers.
